Hero Perks is not a company. It is a discount program brought by Allen Williams Realty Group, Inc. real estate agents who will agree to rebate 25% of their net sales commission to a client who is an active member of the military, or who is currently employed as a firefighter, police officer, EMT/ paramedic, nurse, or teacher. Are you a hero employed in another professional, not listed above, and would like to be considered for the program? Simply, email Allen@AWilliamsGroup.com and give your suggestion for consideration. The Hero Perks team will have final determination if your occupation shall be included in the program.

Here is how it works: Participating real estate agents with the Allen Williams Realty Group, Inc. who offer the Hero Perks discount are listed at HeroPerks.com website, under the “Our Team” tab. Not all agents with Allen Williams Realty Group offer the Hero Perks discount, but those who do and who are listed on the HeroPerks.com website will rebate to their qualifying client 25% of their net commission. See an example of the net commission calculation on the HeroPerks.com website, under the “Your Hero Perks Savings” tab, found under the “Our Program” tab.

Your Hero Perks 25% discount will be listed on a Addendum to Purchase Agreement or an Addendum to Listing Agreement and specifies that your Hero Perks participating agent has agreed to rebate 25% of his or her net commission back to you. To qualify for the 25% net commission rebate, you must furnish proof of employment to your Hero Perks participating agent with a paycheck stub, work identification, etc. For details, please see “Your Hero Perks Savings” under the “Our Program” tab on the home page at HeroPerks.com.

In addition, your Hero Perks participating agent from the Allen Williams Realty Group, Inc. will make a $100.00 donation to a charity of your choosing from those charities listed on the home page of HeroPerks.com. Further, if you are passionate about a charity not listed on the HeroPerks.com home page, please provide the name and website of your favorite charity.

Although unlikely, the Hero Perks team reserves the right not to donate to a charity not listed on the HeroPerks.com home page. However, in such an event, you may choose another of your favorite charities for consideration or may choose a charity from the list on the HeroPerks.com home page.

The Hero Perks program may also eventually be found at HeroePerks.com, HeroPerks.net, HeroePerks.net, HeroPerks.org, HeroePerks.org – all are domains owned by the Allen Williams Realty Group.

Dispute Resolution

In the event a dispute arises between you and the Company, the Company’s goal is to provide you with a neutral and cost effective means of resolving the dispute quickly. Accordingly, you and the Company agree that any claim or controversy at law or equity that arises out of the user’s use of the Site or our services (“Claims”) shall be resolved in accordance with one of the subsections below or as otherwise mutually agreed upon in writing by the parties. Before resorting to these alternatives, we strongly encourage you to first contact us directly to seek a resolution and we will consider reasonable requests to resolve the dispute through alternative dispute resolution procedures, such as mediation, as an alternative to litigation.

For any Claim (excluding Claims for injunctive or other equitable relief) where the total amount of the award sought is less than $10,000, you or the Company may elect to resolve the dispute through binding arbitration. In such cases, the arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with their applicable rules, or any other established ADR provider mutually agreed upon by the parties. Any judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.

Alternatively, any Claim may be adjudicated by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Indianapolis, Indiana. You and the Company agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within Indianapolis, Indiana.

All Claims (excluding requests for injunctive or equitable relief) between the parties must be resolved using the dispute resolution mechanism that is selected in accordance with this section by the first party to file a Claim. Should either party file an action contrary to the above, the other party may recover attorneys’ fees and costs up to $2,000, provided that the party seeking the award has notified the other party in writing of the improperly filed Claim, and the other party has filed to withdraw the Claim.

Commissions are negotiable. The Allen Williams Realty Group, Inc. always recommends having a home inspection completed for a home you’re purchasing. They also recommend investigating inspection companies and contractors on BBB, Angies List, Yelp, etc to see reviews and also recommends doing the research on your end to find a home inspector. Allen Williams Realty Group have used, listed in alphabetical order, Clearview Inspection, Cornerstone Inspection Services, Housemaster, Indy Home Pro, Security Homes Inspections, US Inspections…there are dozens more as well.
